CANCELLATION & DATE CHANGE | CANCELACIÓN Y CAMBIO DE FECHA
• All payments are non-refundable. Due to the limited availability of event dates and the financial commitments required to reserve and prepare for each event, cancellations made within 30 days of the event date will result in the Client being responsible for 100% of all rental fees, décor fees, and contracted services. Any remaining balance becomes immediately due upon cancellation.

Debido a la disponibilidad limitada de fechas para eventos y a los compromisos financieros necesarios para reservar y preparar cada evento, las cancelaciones realizadas dentro de los 30 días previos al evento harán responsable al Cliente del 100% de las tarifas de renta, decoración y servicios contratados. Cualquier saldo pendiente vencerá inmediatamente al momento de la cancelación.
• One date change is permitted if requested at least 30 business days before the event date. Approved date changes will be issued as a credit valid for 12 months from the original event date.
Se permite un cambio de fecha si se solicita con al menos 30 días hábiles de anticipación al evento. Los cambios de fecha aprobados se emitirán como un crédito válido por 12 meses a partir de la fecha original del evento.
• Baby Showers: In the event of an early birth or medically required bed rest, Mariposa Event Decor may, at its sole discretion, allow the event to be rescheduled as a Welcome Baby or Sip & See celebration on an available Friday within 12 months of the original event date. If the client declines this option, all payments and fees will be forfeited.
Baby Showers: En caso de nacimiento prematuro o reposo médico obligatorio, Mariposa Event Decor podrá, a su entera discreción, permitir que el evento se reprograme como una celebración de Bienvenida al Bebé o Sip & See en un viernes disponible dentro de los 12 meses posteriores a la fecha original del evento. Si el cliente rechaza esta opción, perderá todos los pagos y tarifas realizados.

WEATHER POLICY | POLÍTICA CLIMÁTICA
We expect our events to occur rain or shine and make every effort to ensure that happens. However, safety is of great importance. In the event of adverse conditions (tornado warning, tornado watch, thunderstorm, heavy rain, or any other extreme weather conditions), the renter is responsible for the decision of a cancellation. If the event continues as planned, renter is 100% liable for any injuries, damages or issues per the contract. If there is utility interruptions, road closures or any weather affecting issues, Mariposa Event Studio is not responsible. Events that are cancelled due to weather conditions will not be refunded as we have no control of weather. The final decision to cancel or delay the event is solely up to the studio renter. In addition and as a courtesy, we may be able to provide an allowance of a new date based on our “postponed available dates”, these will be provided as needed. Thank you for your continued support.

DEPARTURE
Please turn off both AC units. Switch the panels to off. One is next to speaker & other next to mini fridge.
Turn off all lights both main area & restrooms
Leave cooler lids up
Empty out all food items and beverages. No food down sink, please. Grease trap can’t handle food items and extra fee will be assessed if we must have it professionally cleaned at a rate of $250
Please place pink cones inside.
Locking up the studio: The key is left in the lockbox on the main door. To access key, please follow these instruction: Press down “C” to clear. Enter provided number combination. Slide the latch button. Release the door. The door will pop open when it's pressed at the lower end. Retrieve key. Close both doors one to the left, single door and main double door. Place key back in lock box. If key is lost, a $500 rekey fee will be charged.
